Al has been singing since before he could talk. He started competitively singing at the age of 8 - full contact!
Al has been the fine front man for Cracked Lantern since we decided to play in public. On the side, Al does charity events with his band of merry firefighters (Ottawa), raising money for the Hot Nite in the City Firefighter Calendar, the United Way and 24hr relay, to name a few.
Al's influences range from The Beach Boys to Van Halen. Although he played accordion as a kid and was self-taught on the guitar after 30, he feels his greatest talent is his gift for the air guitar.
